Serendipity is the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely.

This is the place where we can share our interests and experiences. Together we love adventures and usually always find more than we thought we would find - serendipitous!
Yes, I have joined. Everyday for 29 days, you get a new project from a different designer. Once you join, you can also go back to previous days as well, so you don't lose out on earlier projects. They have a world-wide swap where you are assigned one person for whom you make a gift and a card to be mailed before Nov 4th. The swap is optional, if you want to do it, you have to sign up before Oct 30th. In the gallery, people post their versions of the daily project formats, and near the end of the event, everyone posts the gift and card they have received from someone else. The designers are from different parts of the world such as the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, and of course the USA. Even better, your access to the site remains open for a couple of months after the event is finished. There are some really cool projects so far and they also do prize give-a-ways throughout.
